In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top social apps on the Android platform in Latin America showcased varying performance trends according to data from Sensor Tower.

TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE saw a steady rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.3M in mid-December. Its weekly downloads also showed growth, surpassing 1.5M by the week of December 23. Meanwhile, weekly active users increased slightly from 134M to 137M over the quarter.

Instagram experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, reaching around $182K in early November. Download numbers remained relatively stable, with a peak of 1.3M in early December. Active users rose from 196M to 198M by the end of December.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat exhibited a gradual decline in weekly revenue, closing the quarter at about $136K. Downloads increased, reaching 59K in the week of December 23. Active users showed a positive trend, ending the quarter at approximately 1.7M.

Kismia - Meet Singles Nearby had a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $106K in late December. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable spike to 203K by the end of December. Active users saw a decline, ending the quarter at approximately 398K.

Facebook maintained a stable revenue trend, with weekly figures around $82K. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, hitting 968K in late December. Active users grew, reaching 205M by the end of the period.
